Who Wants to Come Up With A New Superhero Concept to Save Stan Lee's Ass?


This new show, Who Wants to be a Superhero? could be campy, escapist fun, or it could be incredibly lame. Given Stan Lee's recent deft touch I'm expecting the llamas to be in full effect.

Sequential Tart Trip to the Mid-Ohio Con


Sequential Tart takes a trip to the Mid-Ohio Comic Convention. I've been to exactly two conventions in my life, the Pittsburgh Comicon and the Bethesda Small Press Expo. Both were chock full of web-friendly artists and some honest to goodness, actual webcomic-only artists. I have no idea if the Mid-Ohio Convention has a healthy webcomic contingent or not (and this article is not revealing of such) but we'd like to know.

For this year, what conventions would you rank as most significant to the webcomics community and why? And which conventions would you most like to see Comixpedia cover in greater detail?

Creature Feature Comics Site Coming Soon


CreatureFeatureComics dot com will feature science fiction and horror-themed webcomics. No word yet on a potential launch date, but they are currently interested in submissions for limited and ongoing series.

TokyoHigh comes to Modern Tales!


Modern Tales, the leading publisher of subscription-based webcomics, announced this week that TokyoHigh, a new series by cartoonist George Panella, has joined the lineup of its flagship website ModernTales.com. New episodes of the manga-influenced series will appear on the site every Tuesday and Thursday. Like other Modern Tales comics, the latest episode of the series will be free, but past episodes will only be available to subscribers.
