Jeff Rowland: I Just Got Fired

Jeff Rowland, creator of WIGU and part of the Dumbrella-BORG explains that " I Just Got Fired" which Rowland seems genuinely enthusiastic about as an opportunity to dive into webcomics fulltime. It would be good news for webcomics generally if Rowland can join the still small crew of creators supporting themselves from their webcomic work.

Return of Commander Kitty

Scotty A passed on that he's back to webcomicing:

I've had a hectic year, but things have calmed down enough that I can resume Commander Kitty!. There's a slick new site design if I do say so myself, and I can finally end this crazy 'purpled one' saga, and get some serious adventuring underway!

And if you're in the Southern New Hampshire area, look next week for the Nashua Telegraph's arty feature on webcomics. I did them an interview and illustration for it!

Advertising musicians

Is it possible for webcomickers to advertise musicians on their website?

Are you attending NOREASCON in Boston?

Hey ya'll,

It just occurred to me to wonder (after running into a webcomicker at my favorite comic shop) whether any of ya'll are in Boston, MA for WORLDCON (aka NOREASCON 4).

I'm local to the Boston area & will be commuting from home, hanging out at the con all 5 days. I'll be offline during most of the day, since they don't seem to be providing an Internet room, but will check here & my email before I leave home & when I get back at night.

We could organize a meet-up! Or come close enough to point & laugh at each other and then run away.
