Eerie, like one of those portraits in the Harry Potter stories
As you can see, I had fun with it. (Warning, somewhat adult-oriented humour)
Hello everyone. My name is Onezumi and I just discovered this site recently. It's good to see that there is a real building of community for the webcomic scene. Considering how new this whole area is it's good to see it being taken seriously and turning into a real business and artistic enterprise.
onezumi.com is my webcomic. It's updated twice a week (monday and friday) with a comic, and wednesday is either an Art Tutorial or a "Making Webcomic webpages" tutorial update. In addition we have a store site (onezumistudios.com) with our own line of T-shirts and art items.
One thing I'm surprised about is how few Webcomic artists actually go to cons. I try to go and Vend at as many as I can in my area. We were at AnimeNext and Otakon this year, and it was great meeting so many people and really being able to interact with visitors. Artist Alley spots don't cost very much at most cons ($10-30) and can get you great exposure. Vending room is more pricey, but has other benefits like website exposure leading up to the con and the maximum traffic at the con to your table.
Theres a lot of opportunity out there these days, I encourage everyone to jump on it.
Check it out - USATODAY.com plugs Graphic Novel Review. I am simultaneously elated and jealous as hell! :)
I Drew This is DC Simpson's new politically-minded webcomic. Simpson is slated to be the cover artist for next month's Comixpedia issue.
With the whole world watching the last month of the campaign for the next US president, we figured it might be a good time to present The Politics Issue.
What Are You Voting For? is a political webcomic. Not for the faint of heart of right-wing inclined.
I should warn everyone right now that the next issue of Comixpedia is "The Politics Issue." We may just upset more folks than the May issue... :0
