Upgrade to Comixpedia Website Underway

An upgrade to the website is underway. The forums will be down until further notice. You may notice a few other odd things as well. Feel free to use this as an open thread until the forums come back up.

Just Got Another Edition of TCJ

Two quick notes: (1) mention of Webcomics Examiner debut (and reference to Comixpedia along with it). No complaints about seeing the word Comixpedia in the pages of TCJ (I think that's a first) but it does highlight the old news aspect of the news in this magazine. Deppey really should consider putting his news back online and leave TCJ's printed pages to everything else; and (2) a really tough, negative review of The Norm. Granted The Norm isn't revolutionary but it is entertaining and sometimes rings fairly true. If it's mundane as the reviewer implies it's because most of us live mundanely in these times.

I also noticed Tom Sturgeon finally reviewed Jason Shiga's Fleep. Little late but notice is alway good.

Modern Humor Authority's September issue arrives

Canadian bleeding-edge pop culture review zine Modern Humor Authority brings its second issue online for September. Enjoy thought-provoking reviews of Men In Hats, Sexy Losers, Apple Geeks, and special interest pieces on Aliens vs. Predator and a local restaurant review sure to whet your mind's appetite.

Rob and Elliot Saved By the Bell!

You can never get enough references to bad sitcoms in your webcomic. Rob and Elliot go for a double with Saved by the Bell and Boy Meets World. Awesome dismount!
