A perfect storm of webcomic, news story and real life on Penny Arcade today.

A video game critic recently offered to give 10,000 to charity if a game company made a game based on his proposal (as best as we can decipher, his proposal involved a player killing the owner of a video game company). Gabe of PA emailed the critic and mentioned how much money PA had already raised for charity and apparently the critic emailed and phoned Gabe a couple of times in response.

It's like Penny Arcade is turning into the Daily Show or something - today's edition is about the phone call.

Help Viper Comics and I decided on a new, easier web address for You'll Have That. All you gotta do is visit the YHT site and vote on one of the four potential URLs that you like best! Phil Kahn writes about a fan film that was done featuring the characters of Something Positive. After SP creator Randy Milholland linked to it, the fan film website chewed through its bandwidth so it's currently unavailable until other hosting can be arranged.

In the sort-of-related-to-webcomics dept, Google has two developments worth mentioning: one is a new RSS reader which is in fact out and available to use; and two is some circumstantial evidence that Google is working on a Paypal competitor, possibly to be called "Google Wallet".
