Eisner Awards Accept Webcomic Submissions


The Comics Reporter reports the news that the Eisner awards are accepting submissions for a possible "Best Digital Comic" category.

The Second Casualty Of The Daily Grind


Yesterday, Richard Guidry became the second creator to leave the Daily Grind Iron Man Challenge. Guidry chose to voluntarily leave the competition, 53 losers remain to be determined.

Currently, what's the first comic you read each morning?


There are a bunch of comics I read in bunches but there are also comics I keep up with everyday. Of those everyday reads I always seem to gravitate to reading my current favorite first. What's the first comic you check each morning?

Right now, for me it's Questionable Content (with Wapsi Square a close second).

Journey Into History Reviews Butternut Squash

His reviews always consist of a webcomic about the reviewed webcomic followed by a short written review. It's an entertaining format - worth catching up with if you aren't already reading.

Neil Gaiman Auction Supporting CBLDF


Neil Gaiman has recently come down with a case of writer's block and can't seem to come up with a good name for a cruise ship in his upcoming novel, Anansi Boys. His solution? Auction the naming of the ship off to the highest bidder on eBay, and donate the proceeds to the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund! It's great to see Gaiman take his already outstanding relationship with the comic world even further in an effort to support the industry.
