Promoting Reader Interaction


I know alot has been discussed about self-promoting one's comic, but does anyone have any advice about getting your readers to talk and interact on forums and such?

Scott Ransoomair and Tim Buckley Interviewed By CBSNews.com


Scott Ransoomair (VG Cats) and Tim Buckley (Ctrl-alt-del) have been interviewed on the CBSnews.com column GameCore. The interviews with Ransoomair and Buckley are part of a series of interviews regarding violent videogames.

While the questions asked in the interviews have nothing to do with webcomics (every participant is asked the exact same questions), it is interesting to note that gaming webcomics seem to have a quite prominent position as commentators on videogames.

Dumbrella's Forums Hacked


As announced in the Dumbrella Blog: Hooray For Jerks

And while it's still a mess in the Dumbrella forums, they aren't the the only folks hit lately.

DrunkDuck was hit, and reportedly Sarah Zero's forums also got hacked (though everything seems to look okay there right now).

Really the point of this is that if you have a phpBB forum that is anything less then version 2.0.13 then you need to upgrade it right away!

Webcomic Obituaries #1


Webcomic Finds is usually about finding new webcomics, but today Ping Teo notes the recent "ends" of a few webcomics.

I'm still trying to figure out when Waiting For Bob will come back from its hiatus.
