Ardra's got a new website!

If you haven't checked out Ardra yet, here's your chance. We've got a brand new website, designed by my artist, Trevor Adams, who some of you may remember from his work as the original artist of Least I Could Do.  Ardra features Dr. Ardra Renelsior, an eccentric genius who's raising twin girls, Eileen and Lenore, as a sort of lifelong science experiment. Go give it a look, won't you? Have fun! Crits and feedback both welcome and encouraged: http://www.stormpages.com/bluedogbeyond/Â

Nerdcore reaches year 2 and comic 100 almost simultaneously.

Tuesday, August 22th marks the SECOND ANNIVERSARY of Nerdcore: The Core Wars! Saturday, August 26th marks the 100th NERDCORE COMIC! To celebrate, Comic number 100 will be an ORIGINAL ANIMATED CARTOON with voices and everything!

Webcomic Updates

I am in the planning stages of starting my own webcomic and am thinking of updating a volume every two months do you think anyone would be willing to wait that long.

Some stuff that happened today.

Uh-oh. Xavier left for the beach and forgot to turn my access off. WHOOPS.

While he's away here's some stuff that went down today:

  • Modern Tales Announces New Strip Lounge Lineup
  • Multiplex joins Boxcar Comics
  • Elf `n Troll #5 Begins TODAY!
  • Sebo: The First Year comes to Keenspot

Sebo: The First Year comes to Keenspot

SEBO on Keenspot!

The first year of Sebo is up on Keenspot for free ala COTC. There’s only two strips up so far. I did ask the Sebo Kitty Klub subscribers if I could do this and, w/ 1/4 of all subscribers responding, the reaction was 100% positive. The SKK club will still go on w/ new material and added stuff.
If you liked the old COTC you will love SEBO!

Thanks!

Elf `n Troll #5 Begins TODAY!

As Perri finds himself a captive to a gang of Goblins, Angus sets out with the mysterious warrior woman Paris to save his friend from becoming an offering to the wood witch Ezra. If that wasn’t enough, there’s also a giant wood demon which may make this daring rescue a bit more complicated.   Action is the word as issue five of Elf `n Troll, “The Wiked Wood” begins today.

Multiplex joins Boxcar Comics

There are a couple of new things at the Boxcar Comics collective: Because Joe Dunn and Mitch Clem have shifted their focus onto new projects, Coffee Achievers and Nothing Nice to Say have been replaced with their currently updating counterparts, Joe Loves Crappy Movies and San Antonio Rock City. Next, my own Multiplex has joined their illustrious ranks, a move that brings the three most widely read movie-themed webcomics -- JLCM, Multiplex and Theater Hopper -- all under the same banner. Yay, Boxcar!

Greetings and salutations

Hi,

I figured I should introduce myself here, seeing as I recently registered and have already made a few posts.

After years of meaning to do a webcomic, I finally started a semi-autobiographical weekly strip called 5031 in 2004. It ran for 18 months, but I felt restricted by the limitations of the format and the premise, so I canned it and started a new comic in April of this year. The new comic is called Basic Wage Kids and is about the members of an unsigned three-piece rock band of the same name. It’s a family friendly, newspaper format comic that runs Monday to Friday.

Modern Tales Announces New Strip Lounge Lineup

SAN FRANCISCO—Modern Tales (www.moderntales.com), one of the Internet’s premier webcomics sites, is proud to announce the addition of nine new comics to its Modern Tales Strip Lounge section. The Strip Lounge, launched earlier this year, offers free, non-exclusive webcomics available to all visitors, and is designed to complement the Modern Tales V.I.P. Room, which features subscription-based comics available only to Modern Tales subscribers.
