I will be participating in the 24 hour comic day again this year. Since there is no event location near to me, I will be doing it at home and will be online throughout the event (as long as I'm awake anyway ;) ). I will be hosting a skype chat, so any of you out there doing the same as me, feel free to come on and share how it's going for you. It's better to have someone to help push you through the tough spots.
This week's episode features a review of the webcomic Staccato and an interview with Nat Gertler, creator of the 24 hour comic day. We talk about how it came to be, how big an event it has become, and even some of the rules of the event.
Give it a listen, and definitely look into participating in the 24 hour comic day yourself!
Sorry.

So I'm about 8 days into the first issue of DREAMNASIUM and I've got no idea how well I'm doing. I'm getting an average of about 200 hits a day but some of the Big Guys are getting tens of thousands.

I had thought there would be some rhyme or reason to which books are killing, where genre or style or artistic skill but there doesn't seem to be. Some books that are AMAZING get little or no support (not ME. OTHER books) while some books that are, well, sup par in my opinion, get stacks of people coming in.
There's no uniformity of style or approach either so what is it?

Hello everyone, I'm a big lover of webcomics! I'm so over my head with them. I don't know what that means, but whatever. I also have alittle webcomic out titled polo! It's a dark webcomic! I recently had a mother curse me out when her son viewed my comic on a libary computer! I leaned over being that i was next to them and said i created that! She looked at me and told me to my face that i was sick! I was upset and happy all at the same time man. This is small, but it made me feel good...damn good!
Hello i'm new here. I just sighned up. I always knew about this place, but i guess alittle to distracted to sighn up! My name is Curtis Hamilton and i'm the creator of "POLO"! I like the feeling of the sight so far and the comics are awesome!
