Create a Comic Project - 6/2/07 Comic Making Tournament

Once the decision is made to commit to a service project and the type of project is chosen, the next step is to organize it. This means finding a location, choosing a schedule, and advertising. There is no way to describe in detail every possible scenario that can be encountered at this stage - this is meant as a general guide so that others can fashion their own comic service program, like the Create a Comic Project.

Post-Con Report of The Philly Super Show


This is a belated report, considering the con I'm mentioning was this past Sunday, the 25th. I must say that compared to the Philadelphia Comic Con, the Philly Super Show was something of a disappoint...

Projects galore


Wow, three blog posts in three days, and I'm not even on winter break yet! Lots of stuff has been going on. First off, my buddy Alexander alerts me to a strip over at the Comics Reporter that somehow slipped my eye when I was over there this morning. It's a good treatment on graphic fluency and why being able to understand comics involves cognitive skills — that some just don't have. Anyhow...

The cold continues, and an examination of Wednesday's comic


The cold continues, but I stumble on. I'm not sure what the worst part of having a cold is. Is it the CONSTANT blowing of the nose? The sore throat? The stuffiness which keeps me awake 'til 4 a.m.? In any event, I hope it is over soon, so I can get some decent sleep.

Mea Culpa


Well, what can i say? The holidays are kicking my schedule to hell. I have also had the pleasure of seeing my novel, SWORD OF DAMOCLES, released and very well received by critics. Acclaim, actually. Pretty weird. Brain is a bit fried to be honest.

Anyway, if you haven't read any of the DREAMNASIUM stories, now is a perfect time to jump on. I will resume putting up pages soon on PENCIL TEST, the second story. HOOKEY is obviously complete.

 So happy hols, ye that celebrate and thanks for your patience. We, which in this case means I, will be back very soon.
