After 13 months and around 240 strips, Bitter-Enders calls time and posts it's last strip tomorrow. Thank you. It's been fun.

However, for those that like their humour wry and slightly Brit-tinged, my new site Pint of Ink is up, running, and posting random funny stuff three times a week. Stuff like this:

Short site note: I've changed the advertising options at Comixpedia. We'll be shifting the top banner slot to Project Wonderful once the currently paid up advertisers' banner impressions run out. In part I'm doing this because it will save me time but I also think it will provide a better value. Not just because of PW's auction model but because ads will now be show persistently on the site. I think that provides better exposure than the banner rotation system.

I've also reworked the left column ads - there is one slot reserved for one ad at the top of the column (click here for terms) and a slot for three ads to run below the top ad (click here for terms). We can also accept flash ads for those left hand column ads now.

We will also be running ads for Comixpedia projects in the left hand column. Contributors to Comixpedia magazine may run a week-long ad in the same slot when we publish one of their articles in the magazine.

Act-I-Vate is having a party tonight to celebrate it's first year anniversary (click the link for details).

One of its co-founders, Dan Goldman, is interviewed by the Gothamist blog. Goldman has been mega-busy lately:

• His webcomic Kelly was supposed to run at Nerve.com, but instead will continue at Act-I-Vate. (Chapter 1 of this comic is here and you can catch the first part of Chapter 2 here.)
• He was the illustrator on journalist Anthony Lappé's Shooting War, serialized earlier this year by SMITH Magazine.
• He's also part of the creative crew on Styx Taxi which is serialized on Thursdays at The Chemistry Set.

We made it to February! Huzzah! This month marks 4 years of Comixpedia.

When we first established Broken Voice Comics, the intention was to update Outpost (our Op-Ed column) every week. We very seldom did. Even though we had nearly a year's worth of archive material, we just never seemed to find the time to dust it down and post it.

Well, it's a new year and we're ready and willing to give it another try! In today's column we ask a question of vital importance to comic book heroes everywhere ... where did all the evil go?

Slipshine, for those who don't know, is (I'm pretty sure) the internet's first adult webcomic network. It hit its fifth anniversary on December '06. It is now celebrating with a complete site overhaul.
