It will soon be a year since Kyubikitsy and I have been creating nemu*nemu on a three times a week publishing schedule. During the course of a year, we've both learned so much from doing the strip and trying to broaden our audience. I can't say that it's been easy but it sure has been an adventure!
Once upon a time, in the dim, dark past of 1999, "having a webcomic" was its own gimmick. There were not that many of us, and most of us who were there were fairly hardcore about it.

Punch an' Pie is a spin-off of Queen of Wands, following the everyday exploits of Angela. Updates M-W-F, in full comic book page format.
Newsarama has good coverage of the two digital comics stories that broke at the New York Comicon.
I'll try to have a round-up of news later today but I wanted to post separately on some news coming out of the NY Comicon from a presentation by ICv2. Let's pull some quotes from Dirk Deppey's Journalista! story on the panel:
This week Thomas Dye is doing a test run for Kid Gloves, a possible sequel/spinoff to his recently finished strip Newshounds. Meet Malcolm and Emma, the O'Shea-Blitzen pups.
Not that I ever knew what an Ide was, but they're only two days away and, as we all know, that's the day Romans tend to stab each other in the back.
And it's not just limited to Romans, either. Look in on Lee Munday's wickedly accurate and scarily funny slice-of-life comic The Lumbering Dead at Broken Voice Comics and you'll see in the latest instalment that the lads from Staines are not beyond a bit of back-stabbing either!
