CNN...Threat or Menace?

In December 2006, William Bazillion announced his expedition to the Arctic, with the intention of recovering some long-missing Nazi gold. By the spring of 2007, William and his crew set forth for Svalbard, the site of the Doomsday Seed Vault.

As a matter of fact, the two most major plot devices in William Bazillion right now involve Svalbard's Doomsday Seed Vault and the search for Nazi gold.

That's why I was more than a little surprised when I clicked on CNN's website yesterday and discovered this:

More art for Sale!

Hi all. I've posted a couple more things I'd like to sell. To everyone who bought an art piece last time, thank you SO MUCH, I really appreciated it. Here's a few more: A couple original pieces, some fanart, plus two of the three pieces I listed before I've reduced in price in hopes that they'll sell. One hitch tho: If you live outside of North America, I'm going to have to charge you an extra $5 for shipping (North American shipping is included in the price), because WOW, is it expensive to ship overseas. O_o

The Invisible Middle Ground

A friend of mine and I had a really interesting discussion the other day about how difficult it is for a reasonable, mediating, middle-ground type of theory to survive in the scientific landscape. Within linguistics, there are a lot of debates I think a middle ground position serves the most efficient explanation. However, there are several things holding back the success of such views. For one
