The Joe Shuster Awards are today and I am not there. Alas. I kept hoping something miraculous would happen, like a giant bucket of money would fall from the sky or someone would get off their duff and invent the teleporter already, but alas, no dice. I kind of ... I know it's awful to say this, but I hope I don't win (I don't expect to, the nomination field is too strong, and Zombies Calling was my first book), because I think I will be literally heartbroken if it happens and I'm not there. I will totally cry real baby tears, you guys.
