who is the Sapphire Streak?

Part of the job I did for the Times was to draw the winner of their competition as a superhero, and they finally announced the winner, so here's the prize picture I drew:

Well, more or less. Neil's still busy with the day job, so I've posted a nifty long-lost guest comic by John Peters.

Every year, there's Talk Like A Pirate Day, from which I think the shine has all but completely worn off. Pirates aren't quite as awesome as they used to be, and if one can judge solely by Latvia using it as a theme for their Eurovision entry this year then Pirates are actually about a decade past being cool (That old maxim about "It's America ten years ago or Europe now"). I also don't think there's much of a challenge to it, anyone can talk like Robert Newton, I've never heard anyone who can't do an "Arrrr" or a "MAY-TEE."

come together!

Minterview – Journey to Mount Moriah

With the current re-birth of Transplant comics, I thought it was about time that we got to know some of the creators behind the comics a bit better. So, I sent out a brief questionnaire to all of the members.

The purpose of this was mostly related to site admin and the questionnaire I sent out was more concerned with finding out exactly what everyone does, for marketing purposes etc.  However, they turned up some pretty interesting trivia, so, with minimal re-formatting, I'm presenting them as a collection of mini interviews... or minterviews.

We're starting today with Scott from the ever fantastic, Journey to Mount Moriah.
