Blast from the past that's still true today.

Alex Ross interview in "Air-Brush Action"

I just saw the July-August edition of "Air-Brush Action".  In it is a fairly lengthy interview with Alex Ross along with some samples I had never seen before of his artwork.

Too bad I only have enough money on me for lunch and my BART ride home.  I will have to scrape up the six bucks for this by tomorrow.  I don't want to wait too long as I did for last weeks "New Yorker".  Damn speculators bought up every copy before I could get one.

AVATAR FINALE + San Diego signings

Okay, yeah, that pretty much made up for everything. Maybe I'll yammer about it later, but my roommate has banned me from speaking about it until he's watched the whole thing. He doesn't trust me not to blurt out spoilers ever since I wandered into the living room where he was watching season two of Battlestar Galactica and remarked "hey, that guy's a cylon." Cue stare of death.

I was away all weekend, but when I finally got a chance to check my post this morning I was in for a nice surprise - my artwork is on the cover of the DFC this week! I'll try to scan it in at some point so you can take a look, but here's a little preview from the DFC website:
