I’m Back. SDCC was Awesome

Comic-Con International, aka San Diego Comic-Con, was wonderful. It would have been better had I not lost my voice on Saturday, but on Sunday I decided to draw up a few signs allowing me to distribute flyers.

I would hold up a sign that said PLEASE TAKE A SAMPLE, and catch the attention of a passer-by.

He/she would usually look at me wondering why I was using a sign, at which point I would gesture at a sign propped up to my right that said I LOST MY VOICE.

A L’il Consolidation

A few site-related news bits I wanted to share… 1) pcweenies.org now redirects to pcweenies.net - the goal here is consolidate all traffic to one source. pcweenies.org will lay dormant until I decide to do something with it… 2) I’ve sent e-mails to various sites that have graciously linked to The PC Weenies, to update their links [...]

Fantasy and reality

Johanna Draper Carlson via Journalista: “I don’t want to be accused of yaoi-bashing, because I do think it’s a valid genre, even if I don’t personally “get it”, ….. The road to god knows...

Well, the last update for the main story is now up on GirlAMatic. That means the entire 142 page story can finally be read. Three short stories will follow starting next Monday (though some of you will have seen them before) and then that will be that.

It's a somewhat bitter sweet feeling. But a very, very positive one.

What happens in the near future? Well, a number of things! First, there will be a book collection of the road to god knows... sometime over the next four to six months.

Hacked!

So Webcomicsnation got hacked over the weekend. Google discovered it and put the site on a blacklist temporarily. All is well now, but actually it’s all my fault. Whenever I do a bunch of work on my websites, my hosting goes down. First it was Keenspace, then Moderntales and now WCN. If only I’d use this power [...]

Rival Angels Page 91-Hard Lessons

Ouch. Not such a great debut as a tag team for Krystin and Brooke.  Like Dawn (the commentator in gold) suggests, it might ‘ve been in their best interests to work out a better strategy than winging it.  In this instance, experience won out over size and power, and as they say, there’s no [...]

Two Roads

Comic

I thought of this falling asleep last week.  Good thing I wrote it down — I never remember anything in the morning…
