Pictures, round 1

I haven't gotten to my photos from Comic-Con yet, but all my pre-con California adventures are now on Flickr! They're organized into several sets for your easy perusal.

Medium Large Is Back!

As reported by the Comics Curmudgeon, Medium Large is BACK!

Hoo hah!

For those who don’t know, Medium Large is written and drawn by Francesco “Ces” Marciuliano, the same writer of comic strip Sally Forth. Medium Large provides hard evidence that Marciuliano is not a total square like his newspaper strip suggests.  If you’re new to Medium Large, I highly suggest reading through the Teenage Girl President archives. Silly, glorious, wonderful stuff.

More Eye Troubles

Hi Cats. Here we go again. Last week I began seeing lights out of the corner of my eye.  They got worse.

Johnny Saturn

Johnny Saturn by Scott Story

In one form or another, Johnny Saturn has been running on the web for about four years. Compared to some well known webcomics, such as PVP, or any of the other long running strips, that’s not all that long. Still, four years is four years, so I’m proud of the ongoing success the strip has enjoyed.

I'm home! I've been on the west coast for the past 15 days, and away from LJ the whole time. Getting caught up on what's happening with the friends I didn't see at Comic Con, and re-adjusting to living with humidity.

My trip was amazing, starting with seeing my family, showing some French dudes around the redwoods, and being a bridesmaid for my bestest friend. Then I moved things south, had a great con, ate way too many tasty waffles, and fell in love with comics and their people all over again. Pictures forthcoming.

Alternate version of Monday’s toon

The Webcomic Overlook #50: Acid Keg

I encountered the subject of today’s Webcomic Overlook after The Floating Lightbulb did an interview with its creator, Steve Hogan. Immediately, I fell in love with the art. It was so 60’s. You know contemporary retro artists like Darwyn Cooke and Mike Allred? Pretenders to the throne! They mar their [...]
