Bookcellar signing

Pictured above are Josh Elder, Chris Burnham, me (Tim Broderick), and Jeffrey Brown from tonight’s signing at the Bookcellar bookstore in Lincoln Square. I think it went pretty well. Chris and Jeff were still wiped out from San Diego, so Josh went first and warmed up the crowd by talking about comics and graphic novels. Jeffrey went [...]

Templar: His ears are burning.

Too bad that can't be treated with bloodletting.

Slowly getting back on track here, after the San Diego Comic Con. (I had a booth this year, E10, between the 700 and 800 aisles.) You may know it as "Nerd Prom"... although I hear Paris Hilton was actually a guest this year, so that alias doesn't really fit as well as it should anymore, does it?

Anyway, the con still hit all the rest of the SDCC bingo squares, this year.

WEREGEEK JOINS KEENSPOT

As first announced at Comic-Con International: San Diego's annual Keenspot panel on Saturday, the popular gaming comic WEREGEEK by Alina Pete has joined the webcomics network.

WEREGEEK is a fun mix of reality and fantasy that blurs the line between role-playing games and real-life. Hunted by mysterious foes, the Weregeeks have taken to the shadows and game only by the light of the full moon. When Mark, a "normal" guy, gets bitten by the gaming bug, he has to come to terms with his new life as a geek.  "I'm trying to show that role-playing games are really not as weird as people think, and that geeks have regular lives and jobs too," said creator Alina Pete.

New Li'l Mell!

Look! Back at last!

I haven't posted to LJ in a while, partly because Neil's been too busy with the lawyering to draw new Li'l Mell pages, and partly because I've been busy writing a book about CLAMP. Man, writing stuff takes forever.

In place of a proper post, here are RANDOM MANGA FACTS!

Talkin’ about some Feedback…

Looking for some input here - be brutally honest with me so I can know the truth. What do you like about The PC Weenies? What would you change? This could be about anything related to the comic: the Toon Mailer, the website, the writing, the art, Guest-Stars, etc. Anything related to the ‘toon is [...]
