Back from Japan

As you may know, I went back for my 4th trip to Japan this week, to a little island called Tsushima. And this time, unlike other times, I actually had money! Like, on me! Yeah! No more needing to sleep on the street!
So I got there, and I walked into the ferry terminal, and I was all "where do I change money?" and they're all like "You can't change money here!" And I'm all, okay, I'll go into town. I walk into the bank. They're all "YOU CAN'T CHANGE MONEY HERE!" and I'm all "Where CAN I change money?" and they're all "NOWHERE."

The Thief

I have a feeling that when you pass this gentleman by, you wind up tipping your hat and remarking to your companion, "What a friendly town." Several minutes later, you suddenly notice that you're purse is a few coins short.

I have no idea where this one came from.

The rest of the Statesman strips…

Click here for the rest of the "Statesman" strips… at least the only ones I’ve got.  Here’s the rest of my stash.  You’ve probably seen a lot of these before online.  I took a lot of my better early “cyberstrips” and put them in print around ‘99-’01 during my stint in the Austin American-Statesman’s XLent weekly supplement.

Wood Elves

This one started off as a phone doodle. After I hung up, it spoke to me and begged to be tightened up a bit. Amongst several other projects I have going on at the moment, I'm still developing the world of `Tween.

Who likes Totoros?

Andrew just finished hanging the Totoro Forest Project show at the Cartoon Art Museum, and it is so sweet. Look how sweet!

The first half of the show is up through January 18, and the second half will run from December 6 to February 8. There are a lot of amazing works by amazing artists in there.
