Hiatus extended

I'm afraid I'll have to extend my hiatus as I don't have an update ready and will be heading home for the holidays soon. There is a slight possibility that I might get one ready on tuesday, but in any case there should be an update available on the first sunday of 2006.

Merry Christmas and a happy New Year, if you're into that.

CheckerboardNightmare Does Animation And Mocks EVERYTHING!!!!

Checkerboard Nightmare by Kristofer Straub posted an animation that was pretty well done (Straub did great voices too for Chex and Lyle) and just MOCKED the hell out of several other webanimation series out there. Really funny piece.

The parody of Strongbad Email was classic...

Interview with Barb Lien-Cooper (Gun-Street Girl)

Gun-Street Girl's Barb Lien-Cooper had an interview with SilverBullet Comics last month. Hope you all didn't miss this one.

If you're interviewed, reviewed, written up or are just engaged in any other form of shameless self-hype you really should send a link or a note to Comixpedia. We like you (yes, you!) and we'd like to post something.

Here Be Barbarians - Blog That Talks About Webcomics Sometimes

Here Be Barbarians would be what you call a "sometimes webcomic blog" and so far, so good.

I chuckled over the recent "things I have learned from SGR" post. And anyone who's as excited as Arthur is about Lore Sjoberg's new project can't be too bad....

Dinner Must Be Stopped - The Neil and Bob Song

Here's a link to a great little song called Dinner Must Be Stopped (link to mp3 file) that Jon described as Heroincredible's musical tribute to the market research segment of Neil and Bob's Big Adventure.

In other news the Goats crew will be at MoCCA for the next meeting of the Cartoonist Alliance on January 12, 2005.

Interview With Will Eisner

As a tribute, The Onion AV club has "reposted" an interview they did with him in 2000. It's a really good read and gives you Eisner's own opinion on both his own work and the world of comics.

Boing Boing: Downloading comics: threat or menace?

Boing Boing: Downloading comics: threat or menace? Interesting post from Boing Boing about a Newsarama thread on downloading pirate scans of comicbooks from the web.
