Skulldog's fantastic webcomic Brink turns one today. If you haven't done so already, check it out. You won't be disappointed.
Here is a synopsis, taken from the site:
BRINK is what I'd like the think of as a 'slice of life' story with a touch of non reality. There will be no super powers, elves, and no demons other than the ones created by the mind. The story focuses on a handful of people, their involvement with each other, and their struggles in life. Of course, said people aren't always in the best grips with the world around them. BRINK does have some heavy language, and violent themes, I wouldn't recommend it out to anyone under 13.
And I would also like to remind everyone that Brink is a member of Intravenous Comics, where you will find other excellent comics.
From the Dreamhost newsletter:
6. DHSOTM (Dreamhost Site of the Month):
A weekly pixel art web comic generally dealing with video games. And I guess by weekly I mean, last updated December 27th, 2005! But hey, at least they're not shameless promoters! As long as you promise not to use cheesy (but delicious) tactics to pumpup YOUR votes, submit your site any time you feel a bit peckish.
The new webcomic collective Intravenous Comics launches today.
IV Comics was originally founded in October 2006 by Shishio, KL Sanchez, Lando Fitzgerald, Phillip Seals, and Nick Wright. The group has been live since February, but now that everything is finalized to everyone's liking, the group is making it official.
In case you haven't been paying attention, <a href="http://www.bombsheltercomics.com">Bomb Shelter Comics</a> is holding a <a href="http://www.bombsheltercomics.com/bomb-shelter-comics-wants-you/">contest to determine the Webcomic Idol</a>, and <a href="http://www.one-liners.net/">One-liners</a> is one of the finalists.
So go <a href="http://www.bombsheltercomics.com/vote.php">vote</a> for the comic you think should be eliminated from the running.
