Should webcomickers hire business consultants like Robert Khoo, whom Gabe & Tycho hired for Penny Arcade?

if you're not already making

if you're not already making $20,000 a year or more from your comic, hiring a consultant will be a waste of your money and his time. you need to prove that you can bring in reader dollars before you'll have anything to work with marketingwise.
