Hi everyone, I'm Kenzie Graham. I do a comic called Mozhaets: A Dystopian Science Fiction
It's a nice little tale about a boy who's been kicked down by an evil planetary Authority his whole life. He was used as a scapegoat, and now that he's about to escape from jail, he's looking to get his revenge and life the good life.
Only problem is his getaway vehicle is the pride and joy of the armada - a battleship called Mozhaets - and everybody's looking for him.
It'd be great if ya'll checked that out.
As for me, I've been doing comics for a while with a varying degree of success, and I just thought I'd say hi, and see what this place is so famous for.

I look at it and that particular French word "noir" springs to mind.

yeah, Mozhaets is very noir-based indeed. I will be shaking things up as the comic progresses, and there may be more light, but yeah the whole narration thing, and some of the punchy dialogue (more of that in the future) is very much inspired from noir comics like Sin City.
