I am interested in finding out about ecomics. Basically comics that are available as pdf or microsoft reader downloadable files.
Right now, I am just looking around. I know that DC and Marvel both turned down offers by Lightning Source -- the largest ebook and print on demand distributor to convert their graphic novels to downloadable files which could be sold over the web.
I am trying to find out who is doing this right now. I know Dark Horse has sample files for free download that are pdf files.
It would be great to learn who is doing this now. Companies and other information would be greatly appreciated.
I've noticed that there is a much stronger focus on webcomics. I think that there could be some very interesting things done with ecomics.
