The issue here is the use of Paypal. You see, Paypal doesn't list some countries in their databases, and my country is one of them not listed.
What can this budding comic artist do without it?
Also, there's a lot of rash of complains about Paypal's service. Try checking it out on Alexa.com and read the reviews. If I am wrong about Paypal's service, I don't know what to say. But how can I trust a payment service that does not list my country on its database?
Meanwhile, is there an alternative to Paypal that I can trust for me to set up an online comic website? Besides that, how can I donate money to these struggling, starving artists?

One other issue I had Paypal is that since it's crackdown on child pornography two years back, Paypal has become a censorship machine, punishing anyone that not only puts up stuff like nudity, but also disagrees with Paypal's policies. Some alternative news websites suffered because of this.
Also, last year, just after Hurricane Katrina, Paypal began to piss SomethingAwful.com by withholding the donations supposedly send to SA.com.
After that debacle, I doubt whether to use to Paypal or not.Â
This problem kills my nerfs
This problem kills my nerfs too! Most webcomic sites with advertising use it. and I often ask desperately if there's another way of paying for advertising. But it doesn't help! I ALSO sent an e-mail to PayPal :) and I asked them about my country, when will they update the list and they say they don't know . It's a very big effort for them, as it looks. I should make some more effort than others to make my web comic popular.

their is the old fashion way of sending them money by cheak or money order, most of em will give away their addresses their are others out their that are just like pay pal I forgot their names, but you can find them online. Do a search, but just to let you know Pay Pal is teh biggest one and a reason they don't have your country I have no idea why but you should contact them and see. Well, if I find their names or web sites I'll tell you. Peace!

Paypal is the easy to use tool we know only on the US, Australia, China, and some European countries.
Then, there are some other countries where you can only receive money, and some others where you can only send (!?). And some countries where you can withdraw to your bank account, and some others where you can do it to an US. account bank. A real mess!
